Facebook vs. Google+

When Facebook opened to the public in September 2006, it was just a URL. But then, BAM! Facebook became the fabric of our daily lives. Paired with twitter, the world became a place that was instant. Americans, especially are a microwave society, so for all us impatient people we say, hooray! Now the whole world is connected unlike anything we've seen since Al Gore invented the Internet...lol. On a side note wouldn't it be great if more Christians used the platform to at least spread the Gospel at least once a day. If every Christian did that, and planted that seed to one un-saved person, could you imagine. Ok back to the subject. Through the years FB has pretty much kept people in touch with family and friends with up to date daily things that go on in our lives which is awesome. I read an article recently about every time FB implements changes people threaten to leave, but we don't. We don't like change. We get comfortable with the hear and now. Which now brings me to Google+. I admit I haven't fooled around in it to much, but it has the promise of being a great adversary. Think right now Godzilla vs Mothra. To me, Google+ is a bit clunky. Even though there are millions of users, not many of my circles use it as well. If they did, it would give me a better reason to split my time between the two. Maybe that opinion will change once I spend more time on it. I do hope that Google+ becomes successful. But for me, for now I will keep FB full-time.
